The FillerUpClub in Houston, Tx. was created two years ago in response to the constant rising cost of gasoline and diesel.
Started in the Spring of 2009, Joseph Dutton of Houston Texas created the FillerUpClub in response to the rising cost of gasoline everywhere, and the impact it was having on himself as well as his family.

The Club is based on a similar business model as Sam’s Club, Costco, or BJ’s in which customers pay a membership fee and then can buy products and services at discounted or wholesale prices.

Many reports say gas may soon be well over $4.00 a gallon and possibly even over $5.00 or more, due to the current political turmoil in some of the oil producing countries.

Instead of being limited to only paying retail price for gas at your local station, members now have a way to recover some of your costs and end up paying almost the same as the oil company paid when they bought the fuel directly from the refinery. Founder, Joseph Dutton, has over 10 years experience working in the Title industry with a concentration on oil and gas leases. He also has over 15 years experience working in television, radio, and a wide variety of experience designing and developing websites on the internet.

Currently, he lives in Houston, Texas with wife Holly (a Certified Public Account working in downtown Houston) and daughter Ivy (a toddler that makes lots of messes). Holly’s work in accounting is also focused largely the Oil and Gas industries.

So combining their knowledge of oil and gas, internet technology, and media savvy, Joseph and wife Holly put together a system where they could purchase gasoline at (or near) wholesale price. It didn’t take long to realize this was a highly marketable idea. Hence, the FillerUpClub was born.
